Description: This project is a fun way to introduce yourself to the class. You were challenged to trace your footprint, including your name, 3 different media, and symbols to explain yourself. This activity was a very creative way to share facts about yourself and learn about other classmates. Nail Card: I enjoy getting my nails done. Soccer Ball: I play college soccer at Northern. Shopping Receipt: I love to go shopping and my favorite store is Marshalls in town. Omaha Sign: I'm from Omaha, Nebraska. Troll Figure: My favorite movie is Trolls. Car Freshener Picture: I love to travel to tropical places like Florida. Northern Sign: My major is Elementary Education. Extension Activity: To take this a step further in my classroom, I would have them paint or draw a self-portrait. Within the portrait, I would have them use their favorite colors and include symbols to describe themselves.
